Embrace Finance Small Charity Finance Academy

Join our newsletter to keep up to date.

These sessions are aimed at anyone looking to build confidence in small charity finance. Sessions are aimed at smaller organisations with an income under £500k, but all are welcome.

Sessions are delivered by qualified finance professionals who have spent all or most of their working lives in the charity sector and know the challenges that small charities face well.

What you can expect:

  • 90 min sessions. 60 min content x 30 min Q and A
  • Slide decks, signposting and templates
  • Warm, non-judgemental, small charity friendly facilitation

We encourage all questions. The only daft questions are the ones we don't ask.

It is our policy not to record these sessions, as we find that recording them live inhibits discussion. However, most sessions include a short pre-recorded video covering the main points. All content will be available on the links below after each session.

The sessions have been designed to be at an introductory level, and we try hard not to use jargon - and to explain it clearly - when we have to.

We look forward to seeing you.

"Awesome session
which took the
fear out of
financial planning"

Getting on top of and keeping on top of the numbers in a small charity can be challenging.

Small charity finance is technical, regulated and complicated. It can be, we are sometimes told, boring, and when the numbers don't go the right way, it can be anxiety provoking.

We understand the challenges small charities face when building financial sustainability. We explain finance in a simple, accessible way. We take the stress out of it all.
